Nigerian music sensation and Grammy award-winning artist, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has responded to the clamor from his fans for new music.
He revealed that he is currently on vacation and might not return to the music scene for the next four years.
The singer, also known as Big Wiz, hinted that he would use this break to explore other interests, including sports like golf or ball.
On his Instagram story, written partly in Pidgin, Wizkid added a laughing emoji to the post and stated, “Una Papa dey holiday oo. Make I enjoy. Back in four years. Make una papa enjoy him money small; or 5… or I still fit dey go play ball now. Or make I start dey play golf… or wrestling…”
This response came after Wizkid shared a fan’s message that playfully threatened him with the “god of iron” for not releasing new songs.
