Why I haven’t put a lot of artistes through – Wizkid
Singer Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has revealed why he has not been able to put a lot of artistes through to the limelight.
The singer said that being his own boss has placed so many responsibilities in his hands which have been keeping him busy.
He, however, expressed optimism that the year 2021 will usher in something new.
“There’s a reason why I haven’t like truly put a lot of artists through from back home at the same time. First of all, I’m my own boss and I don’t take orders from nobody,” he says.
“I’m my own accountant, I’m my own everything. So it’s like I have to make sure we’re bringing out the best of the best talent. We’ve been working on certain things for years and I feel like 2021 is gon’ be amazing.”
Wizkid just released a new album titled Made in Lagos which features international acts like Damian Marley, Ella Ma and also fellow Nigerian Burna Boy.
