Fat shaming, body shaming, slut shaming and the likes have become one of the most common “malicious” term internet trolls and haters use to criticize people, especially women and girls, who are perceived to violate expectations of behaviour and appearance regarding issues related to sexuality.

Eniola Badmus, a popular Nollywood personality has being a victim of this relentless body shaming and wants to know why people body shames her.

The plus size actress via her Instagram page shared a selfie photo with the caption, “Why do you guys constantly call me Ugly……??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️.”

In response, some celebrities replied to her in the comment section by using beautiful words to describe her body in a bid to boost her confidence.

Tiwas Savage said, “Never, you are beautiful sis❤️.”

On-Air Personality, @officiallolo1 said, “ask them what they have created before?”

Actors Femi Adebayo, Alexx Ekubo, Broda Shaggi, Wale Turner amongst others also reacted.

However, active journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, while reacting to Eniola’s post explained her reasons for fat shamming her.

Olunloyo stressed that she doesn’t want the actress to slip into HBP, diabetes or a stroke due to her body mass. She, however, apologised saying “you definitely ain’t ugly but pretty.”

“You once told me the world doesn’t need me cos I called you fat and obese simply because of health reasons @eniola_badmus.

“I don’t want you to slip into HBP, diabetes or a stroke. You definitely ain’t UGLY.

“You are definitely pretty. Your weight is my concern and you are not the first I’m going to advise. Some of your fans are gonna be writing #RIP if these diseases afflict u. I care. Sorry I “fat shamed” u in the past,”@ kemiolunloyo wrote.
