Nigerian actress, Eniola Badmus, has come under criticism from some social media users following her reaction to a makeup artist who allegedly failed to attend a scheduled appointment.

The actress explained that she had booked the makeup artist for a major event and sent multiple reminders before the agreed date.

However, despite the preparations, the makeup artist reportedly did not show up.

Following the incident, Badmus took to social media, shared the makeup artist’s contact details, and encouraged her followers to reach out to the woman and “tell her wetin no good.”

The action sparked controversy, with several users on X questioning the decision to make the makeup artist’s private phone number public.

Some critics argued that Badmus should have used the same approach to share the contact details of Bola Tinubu amid ongoing complaints about his administration, while others accused her of exposing the makeup artist to possible online harassment.

Other commenters raised concerns about the privacy implications of sharing someone’s personal information publicly, with some suggesting that the move could lead to legal action in certain countries. Some users also called on the makeup artist to respond by sharing Badmus’ phone number.

Despite the backlash, some individuals showed support for the makeup artist. Rather than criticising her, they reached out with encouragement and praised her efforts, saying the situation could help promote her business.
