A 33-year old Nigerian man, Emmanuel Omozee, has been reportedly arrested for beating up the owner of a hotel he lodged in Taranto, Italy.
Omozee was charged with aggravated personal injuries, private violence, aggravated threat; violation of domicile and aggravated theft, for allegedly beaten the unidentified owner with a chain and stick.
He threatened and beat the owner of the hotel then later he ordered both him and the patrons to leave the hotel.
The incident occurred in Castellaneta Marina (Taranto) in an accommodation facility that hosts asylum seekers and migrants.
According to multiple media reports, the 33-year-old Nigerian domiciled in Castellaneta.
Omozee was also found in possession of the keys to other rooms and some objects removed from the reception. The stolen goods have, however, been returned.
