Vikings actor, Alexander Ludwig, ties knot with fiancée Lauren Dear
Alexander Ludwig, who played Bjorn ‘Ironside’ Lothbrok in the HBO series, Vikings and his fiancée, Lauren Dear have tied the knot.
Recall that Ludwig and Dear got engaged in November after publicly confirming that they were dating in July.
The not too crowded event which featured the couple, an officiant, their dog Yam and a photographer held amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic at The Lodge at Blue Sky in Utah.
“We decided to elope,’ the Vancouver, Canada native, 28, said on Instagram Sunday. ‘It has been such a crazy year but it certainly put things into perspective. Life is too short [and I didn’t] want to spend another day without calling this beautiful woman my wife.
“Of course when things settle down we will have a proper celebration with our friends and family but for now – the love of my life, our dog yam, a yurt on a mountain top in the middle of nowhere sounded like the perfect beginning,” the Hunger Games actor posted on Instagram.
