A pickpocket has received the beating of his life after he tried to steal from a woman in a market in Ghana.

In the now-viral video shared by Bongoideas on Instagram, passers-by also joined the woman to batter the thief who tried frantically to protect himself.

The police had to take him away from the woman and others who hit him continuously.
