The spotlight recently turned to Lagos resident Deborah Olaki, also known as Mummy Zee, after a tweet about her early morning cooking routine for her husband went viral on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter).

The Geophysics graduate shared the story of waking up at 4:50 a.m. daily to prepare lunch for her husband, drawing both criticism and praise from the online community.

However, amidst the newfound attention and generosity showered upon Mummy Zee and her husband, a cautious netizen offered advice, urging her to steer clear of podcast appearances.

In a social media post, the well-wisher cautioned, “Dear @_Debbie_OA, This is your moment. Enjoy it. But please, don’t make yourself a guest on anyone’s podcast or radio show anytime soon. Don’t allow them use you for content. They will make you say things and then use your words out of context and make news headlines for clickbait. Enjoy everything you and your husband have gotten. You deserve it.”

The advice resonated with other netizens, with one user emphasizing its significance, stating, “This advice right here is worth more than every gift that came her way because it takes one podcast/interview to bring all this joy down and shove it in the trash. I pray all that she is giving will last all through their lives, but this advice right here is the real deal. Thank you, sir.”

Amid the supportive comments, some users debated the perceived value of the advice, with one stating, “Advice worth more than money? Total peak fooling.”

Another user chimed in, suggesting a need for moderation in the response, “Some of you honestly need to be calming down even though you mean well. Worth more bawo!”
