This is war, Tonto Dikeh kicks against Baba Ijesha’s rumoured release
Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has frowned at the stance of the police concerning the rape allegation levelled against Lanre Omiyinka, also known as Baba Ijesha.
The actress described the rumoured release of the suspect from police custody as a slap on Nigerians, saying she had a premonition the case would be mishandled by police authorities in Lagos.
Few days ago when news of the comedian’s arrest for alleged defilement of a minor hit social media, the single mother-of-one clamoured that Baba Ijesha must not be granted bail.
Dikeh claimed that she feared the authorities concerned may want to tweak the law to his favour being a public figure.
She also urged her fans to tag foreign and local authorities to ensure that justice prevails.
However, following reports that the police might release the suspect from their custody for lack of substantial evidence, the actress has vowed to start a war if he is released.
“I knew this would happen? Hence I have been pushing for this case to be transferred to Abuja, I don’t mind taking care of accommodations, security and transportation for the victim’s team… I said it “This is a war” cause of my inside knowledge of this case… It’s really going to be a war!!!”
“BUT YOU KNOW WHAT “WHAT GOD CAN NOT DO DOES NOT EXIST…
