The national leader of All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday doled out N50m to victims of the fire disaster that engulfed Katsina Central Market on Monday.

Commiserating with the victims, the former Lagos governor urged them to resume commercial activities in the market.
He stressed that life must continue notwithstanding the level of damages and destruction recorded in the fire incident.
Addressing newsmen, Tinubu maintained that the purpose of his visit was to sympathise and commiserate with the victims, governor and good people of the state.
He also emphasised the need to promote unity and collaboration among Nigerians, saying “that Nigerians must be their brother’s keepers.”
