THEY ARE THREATENING TO KILL MY DAD! Man cries out after court orders SARS to pay N10 million to pastor for unlawful detention
The son of a pastor identified as Emeka Okoye has said operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad are threatening to kill his father following a court judgement.
He said his father, Pastor Sylvester Okoye won a court case against SARS for assault of which the court awarded him N10 million in damages but instead of SARS to pay him, they are threatening his life.
He said in 2015, his father was arrested by Awkuzu SARS on the mistaken notion that his car was a stolen vehicle.
He said his father was tortured by the operatives, adding that after his father was bailed, he sued SARS and eventually won the case.
He said the court awarded his father N10 million in damages and ordered SARS to return the car as well.
Emeka said SARS have refused to yield to the court’s order instead have been threatening to harm his father.
