Tension as two trailers collide at Cele bus stop on Oshodi-Mile 2 expressway
An accident between a fuel tanker and a lorry carrying container has caused heavy traffic at Cele bus stop on Osodi-Mile 2 expressway in Lagos.
Eyewitnesses say the MAN Diesel tanker rammed into a Mack low bed trailer from behind, as a result, the trailer almost jumped to the other side of the expressway but got hooked by the road median.
Reports from those living in the area stated that the accident happened late Thursday night. No lives were lost in the accident.
Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) are already at the scene trying to evacuate the vehicles in order to clear the gridlock.
