Brit Awards: Taylor Swift wins Global Icon, Dua Lipa best album (COMPLETE LIST)
Some 4,000 people watched singers Dua Lipa and Arlo Parks triumph as well as perform at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday, in the first major indoor music event with a live audience held in London in over a year.
Dua Lipa picked up gongs including the top prize of British album for her chart-dominating disco spectacular Future Nostalgia.
She also won female solo artist, bringing her total Brit award tally to five and cementing her position as one of the UK’s most successful and critically acclaimed pop stars.
She dedicated her award to nurse and healthcare pioneer, Dame Elizabeth Anionwu.
Taylor Swift also grabbed a history-making Global Icon award while British comedian Jack Whitehall presided over the evening.
