The discussion began on social media after a user alleged that Rukus relies on AI to produce music, pointing to Tommaso Ciampa’s entrance theme as evidence.
Rukus directly addressed the accusation, emphasizing his long-standing involvement with All Elite Wrestling.
According to the composer, he has spent seven years working with AEW and has created hundreds of entrance themes during that time, without using artificial intelligence as part of his creative process.
The comments come as AI-generated music continues to become a subject of debate across the entertainment industry, including professional wrestling, where entrance themes play an important role in establishing the identity of performers.
Meanwhile, an AEW theme song is set to feature in the upcoming rhythm-action video game Stage Tour.
The inclusion will give players an opportunity to interact with one of wrestling’s recognizable musical themes in a setting outside of AEW television.
