Arsenal reject, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, on Sunday night scored twice on his El Clasico debut as his new club, Barcelona FC, destroyed La Liga leaders Real Madrid 4-0 at the Bernabeu.

The pacy striker headed the visitors in front in the 29th minute and scored the team’s fourth goal early in the second half.

Ronald Araujo doubled the Catalans advantage before the break, with Ferran Torres adding a third on the counter-attack after 47 minutes.

A hapless Real Madrid were seeking a sixth straight win in this fixture, but lost steam and created little chances as their lead over Sevilla at the top remained at nine points.

Barca, managed by ex-midfield dynamo, Xavi, stretched their unbeaten run to 12 games as they leapt to third in the table, with just 12 points behind Madrid with a game in hand.
