Saraki, Okowa, Makinde, others celebrate Atiku Abubakar at 74

Former Vice-President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar is celebrating his 74th birthday today, November 25, 2020.

A number of politicians and governors have taken to Twitter to celebrate the former Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate.

Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa prayed God strengthens the birthday celebrant who he labelled a “great patriot”.

He tweeted: “On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate a great patriot and our former Vice-President, Alhaji @Atiku Abubakar, as he celebrates his 74th birthday. I pray that God will continue to strengthen you as you work to build a better Nigeria.”

Also, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde wished the former Vice President “good health” and “protection” in his tweet on Wednesday.

“Happy birthday to our former Vice President, Alhaji @atiku Abubakar. Many happy returns of the day as you clock 74. Sir, we wish you God’s blessings and protection today and pray that you remain in good health all the days of your life,” he said.

Immediate-past Senate President, Bukola Saraki tweeted, To our former Vice-President, Alhaji @Atiku Abubakar, as you celebrate another year, I wish you the best of blessings, good health and grace! Happy Birthday sir!”

Bauchi State Governor, Bala A. Mohammed also hailed the septuagenarian on his Twitter account, saying: “On behalf of my myself, my family and the entire people of Bauchi State, I join millions of Nigerians to celebrate our former VP and leader, H.E @atiku, as he celebrates 74 years of age. I wish you continued good health, wisdom and prosperity.

“Your enduring democratic ideals and contributions to nation-building and your quest to move Nigeria forward is what distinguishes you as one of the most vibrant politicians in our dear country. Congratulations and happy birthday, sir.”
