Sanyeri eulogises Antar Laniyan on his birthday
Nollywood actor, Olaniyi Afonja, popularly known as Sanyeri, has revealed that fellow actor and director, Antar Laniyan, directed his breakout movie, Opa Kan, for free.
The 45-year-old made this known on Tuesday when he shared a birthday message to Antar on Instagram.
“This day reminds me of when I came to you seeking for you to direct my movie Opa Kan without me having a means of paying you…You promised to help me and you did…To God be the glory that movie Opa Kan brought me to the limelight…,” he wrote.
The movie, Opa Kan, which was released in 2009, also stars Odunlade Adekola.
Sanyeri and Antar Laniyan also appear together in Obirin and Aworan.
