A Nigerian writer, Eketi Ette, has taken to her social media page -Facebook- to share screenshots of the awful messages she received from a man who was trying to shoot his shot.

In a failed attempt at being funny, he asked for her number and when she didn’t respond to his messages, he became disrespectful.

The man went from writing “I love you” to “you can never make a good wife” and “No wonder you’ll die single,” just because she refused to give him her number.

Facebook users are shocked by the way the man became aggressive because he couldn’t handle rejection.
