Quit pop scene, Brymo advises ‘ugly looking’ Burna Boy

Published

Nigerian singer Brymo Olawale has once again stirred the pot in his ongoing feud with fellow musician Burna Boy. Taking to his Instagram story, Brymo issued three distinct warnings to Burna Boy, asserting his superiority and urging him to step back from the pop scene.

Firstly, Brymo advised Burna Boy to exit the pop music scene, criticizing his appearance and vocal abilities. He emphasized the need for Burna Boy to focus on delivering authentic content to the world.

Brymo’s worte “Yo! Three things…1. You need to leave the pop scene. You are seriously looking almost ugly and with a voice like mine that can’t really sing to boot. Take a cause and focus. You need to give the world the things you were deprived of.”

“2. I am on the Deity level. Any wonder why you can’t resist the yearning for my attention. Not even your international renown is enough to make you look past me, who does not have anything supposedly close to what you are purported to have.”

Brymo questioned Burna Boy’s intentions and offered his assistance if approached respectfully, challenging Burna Boy to seek help like a mature individual.

Brymo’s direct quote: “What do you want?? I can help if you ask like a man and respectfully.”

This recent exchange adds fuel to the ongoing rivalry between the two artists, which escalated when Brymo accused Burna Boy of lacking originality and stealing songs. Burna Boy responded with a freestyle diss track, prompting Brymo to assert his vocal superiority and independence.

In a separate interview, Brymo stated that he would rather “go to hell” than sign under Burna Boy, Wizkid, or Davido, claiming they are all “thieves” who stole Fela’s Afrobeat genre.

The two artists have been engaged in a public feud, with Brymo directly calling out Burna Boy for his lack of originality and accusing him of sending people to beat him up. Burna Boy responded by taking jabs at Brymo in his freestyle performances

Brymo’s recent remarks come amidst rumors of his alleged pride and refusal to join established record labels. However, Brymo has vehemently denied these claims, reaffirming his commitment to his artistic integrity.
