Pro-Government marchers meet #IStandWithNigeria protesters in Abuja (photos)
Pro-government marchers have set up camp few meters away from the #IStandWithNigeria protesters in the Unity Fountain Park Abuja.
The two groups are demanding for separate things. The pro-government group are compaigning that they are satisfied with the governance rendered by the President Muhammadu Buhari led federal government, while the #IStandWithNigeria protesters are demanding for better governance.
The pro-government rally is championed by Buhari Volunteer Network.
The pro-government group says it is out to sensitise the populace on the achievements of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
But Chidi Odikalu, former chairman of the Human Rights Commission, who is on the side of those protesting against the current economic situation, said he was at the Unity Fountain to demand good governance.
