Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has responded angrily to fellow artiste Bella Shmurda’s recent remarks dismissing the idea of a musical collaboration between them.
The tension began when Bella Shmurda appeared on the podcast Curiosity Made Me Ask, hosted by Isbae U, where he explained why he would not consider working with Portable.
He cited differences in musical style and a desire to avoid controversy.
“I just don’t see the connection in the music. I don’t want wahala, I want peace,” Shmurda stated during the interview.
In reaction, Portable took to Instagram with a fiery response. In a video posted on his page, he boasted about his global exposure and labeled Bella Shmurda a “failed musician” unworthy of collaboration.
“Anytime you want to do an interview, don’t mention my name again. You can’t feature me? I have been to America, London. It’s not about who blew first, it’s about who’s still blowing,” he said.
Portable went on to ridicule Shmurda’s career, distancing himself from what he described as “failures.”
“Which connection wan join me and you? You are a failure. I no dey roll or do music with failures,” he added.
The exchange has triggered mixed reactions online, with fans of both artistes weighing in on the feud across various social media platforms.
