Police arrest three for kidnapping in Bauchi

Three individuals suspected of involvement in a recent kidnapping case have been arrested by operatives of the Zone 12 Police Command, Bauchi.

The Assistant Inspector General in charge of the Zone, Dasuki Danbappa Galadanchi, made the announcement during a parade of the suspects at the Zonal Command Headquarters on Friday.

“We are extremely proud of the achievements of our operatives and their diligent efforts in bringing these suspects to justice.

“Our operatives worked seamlessly with other law enforcement agencies, which demonstrates the excellent partnership and cooperation between all agencies involved.”

“By working together, we have made significant progress in combating crime in our communities, and we will continue to work together to keep our streets safe.

“However, I must emphasise that this is just the beginning, and we still have much work to do. Our efforts to fight crime will continue, and we will not stop working until our communities are entirely safe.

“We urge the public to work with us by providing credible information to the authorities. Your input is essential in the fight against crime.

“Once again, we express our gratitude to our law enforcement operatives for their exceptional work in bringing the kidnapping suspects to book. Their success is a testament to the extraordinary commitment and hard work they put into their jobs every day,” he stated..

After an intensive investigation involving advanced technology and undercover work, the suspects were apprehended and the victim was rescued. The police recovered N1,540,000 and a locally fabricated firearm during the operation.

Expressing his pride in the team’s success, AIG Galadanchi emphasized this as just the beginning of their fight against crime.

He urged the public to cooperate by providing authorities with credible information, as their input is vital in combating criminal activity.
