Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has confirmed that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen will miss Tuesday’s Africa Cup of Nations return qualifier against Sierra Leone in Freetown.

Osimhen scored a goal in the 4-4 draw on Friday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, before being substituted after dislocating his shoulder.

Although the Napoli man who has scored four goals in three Nations Cup qualifiers for Nigeria has left the hospital, Rohr “he is out of the match” in Freetown on Tuesday.

The first leg in Nigeria ended in a dramatic tale as the Super Eagles made a mess of a massive four-goal lead to share the spoils.

Alex Iwobi netted a brace as well as Chukwueze and Osimhen’s goals kept the home team in the driving seat but got carried away with the excitement as they ended up conceding four goals.
