VIDEO: One dies in Abuja airport road accident
A gravel-carrying truck colliding with two smaller vehicles have resulted in one fatality and another individual sustaining mild injuries along the out-bound lane of the Umaru Musa Yaradua Expressway, commonly referred to as the Airport Road, in Abuja’s Federal Capital Territory on Monday,
The victim, identified as a woman, lost her life in the unfortunate accident. The injured person received prompt attention and was reported to have suffered only minor injuries.
The aftermath of the accident led to a significant traffic jam on the usually bustling expressway, causing inconvenience for commuters attempting to navigate the road.
Various law enforcement agencies, including officials from the Directorate of Road Traffic Services, the Federal Road Safety Corps, and the police, were present to manage the situation and maintain order.
