Olamide drops new single, ‘Green Light’ ahead of ‘Carpe Diem’ album

Nigerian rapper and record label boss, Olamide Adedeji, has put out a new single titled ‘Green Light’, ahead of ‘Carpe Diem’, his much-anticipated album.

The singer, popularly known as Baddo, took to his social media pages on Friday to announce the track release alongside a link wherein ‘Green Light’ can be accessed.

“New music Greenlight/pre-save link ‘Carpe Diem’ the album. love you,” he wrote.

Born in Bariga, Lagos state, the ‘Woske’ crooner has made a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry for his Afrobeats-infused hip-hop.

His debut album ‘Rapsodi‘ was released in 2011. ‘Eni Duro’, the album’s lead track, pervaded Nigerian radio stations and saw him collaborate with the likes of Wizkid, 9ice, Reminisce, and D’banj.

Since then, Olamide has been on a rampage, releasing hit tracks and albums.

The rapper has also been nominated for a plethora of awards in recognition of his role in the country’s music industry.

Carpe Diem’ is set for release on October 8.
