Segalink accuses LGBTQ+, feminist movement of hijacking #EndSARS protests
Human rights activist, Segun Awosanya aka Segalink has accused the LGBTQ+ and feminist movement of hijacking the EndSARS protests in Nigeria.
Segalink who started the EndSARS campaign stated that the current protests are being sponsored by foreign agents who want to smuggle into Nigeria a culture which is against the laws of the country.
He tweeted:
“Kindly call this what it is. This is NOT #EndSARS Movement but an LGBTQ+ and Feminist Movement. Stop impersonating & exploiting the vulnerability of Nigerians, who genuinely wants to end impunity. This agenda is dead on arrival. There is no place for insurrection in Nigeria.”
The human rights activist who had earlier dissociated himself from the continued protests revealed that what was demanded by the initial EndSARS protests is being met by government.
“The demonic agenda will NOT stand. Eat their food and clear the roads. SARS ended. Govt agreed to the demands and the Police Reform is in gear. The attempt to smuggle this culture in the heat of our healing will fail. Our laws are clear. You can’t bully anyone into submission.”
He added:
“Poverty is real Distinguished. Demonic forces brought a shipload of cash into the country to buy the souls of the people. They will murder their parents if necessary to do the bidding of agents of Baal. But we will stand. There’s no room for Insurrection on our land.”
