Nigerian stand-up comedian, vocalist and actor, Jephthah Bowoto, popularly known as Akpororo, has reacted to the disqualification of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State from contesting the All Progressive Congress [APC] primary to pick candidate for the gubernatorial election in the state.

Speaking in a video, Akpororo said that governance should be strictly by merit and any serving governor, especially in Edo State, only deserves a second tenure if he did well in his first four years.
