Why NLC chairman stormed Edo State Government House today (Photos)
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, on Wednesday, received the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) in the Government House.
The state’s NLC chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Ademokun was accompanied to the Government House by the TUC state chairman, Comrade Ohue Marshall.
Reports say during the meeting, Governor Obaseki and others sang solidarity songs before engaging in crucial discussions. The labour leaders said the purpose of the courtesy visit is to show the Governor is solidarity.
The Governor assured the labour leaders that his administration would ensure that the state becomes safe haven and destination point for investors.
Comrade Ademokun after the meeting presented Governor Obaseki and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu with souvenirs.
