NIMC workers suspend strike action

Staff of the National Identity Management Commission NIMC have suspended their strike action.
The Protesting workers downed tools on Thursday, January 7 to press home their demands for better remuneration as well as the provision of personal protective equipment PPEs to protect against COVID19.
The protesting workers met with the Federal Government earlier today and resolved to call off their strike action.
They are expected to resume work by Monday, January 11 to continue with the ongoing registration of Nigerians for their National Identity Numbers.
