Nigeria’s first all-female university opens 2026/27 admissions

Tazkiyah University, Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria’s first all-female university, has commenced admission into its 2026/2027 academic session, offering qualified female candidates the opportunity to enrol in a range of programmes across health sciences, management, social sciences and computing .

According to a statement signed by the university’s Registrar, applications are open through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, Direct Entry and transfer admission routes .

Available programmes include Nursing Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Health, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and Taxation .

Other programmes offered by the institution are Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering and Information Technology .

The university said its academic programmes are designed to provide students with relevant knowledge and skills while promoting character development, in line with its philosophy of “Blending Knowledge with Noble Character” .

It also said students would have access to modern facilities and dedicated faculty members in a learning environment designed to support academic excellence and personal development .

Tazkiyah University also disclosed that scholarship and financial aid opportunities are available to eligible students, including orphans, as part of efforts to make quality higher education more accessible .

The institution urged qualified female candidates seeking admission into higher education to take advantage of the 2026/2027 admission exercise .
