Nigeria’s ex- Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that Nigerian youths are their own worst enemies.

He stated this in a series of tweets on his verified handle, @RealFFK, on Monday.

The former minister added that it was pitiful young ones try to undermine and denigrate one another. He said they should rather pull resources together and form a formidable force.

He tweeted, “I am convinced that this generation of Nigerian youths are their own worst enemies. It is pitiful. They need to spend their resources and energy trying to come together rather than to undermine and denigrate one another. Some of the things I have seen and heard are shocking.”

In the following tweet, Fani-Kayode illustrated the point with some job-seeking youths.

He said, “We had slots for 3 jobs for youths. 200 graduates applied for those three jobs. After 50 were shortlisted 10 were chosen for interviews. They all came. 2 out of the 10 attempted to kill one another with poison in order to increase their chances of getting one of the 3 slots!”
