Below is a video showing the Nigerian Army engaging Boko Haram insurgents in a fierce battle in the Northeast late at night.

The video which was shared by @APCUKingdom on Twitter, shows bullets flying in the air as the soldiers intensify effort to ensure putting an end to Boko Haram in Nigeria.

A few days ago, the Chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Burutai stated that he will be going to join the Operation Lafiya Dole and would not leave until Boko Haram is finally defeated.

This was after the government of Chad carried out an offensive on Boko Haram which dealt a heavy blow on the insurgents.

The Defence Headquarters, DHQ, also stated that Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the terrorist group, will soon surrender.
