Former world welterweight champion, Floyd Mayweather, has confirmed that date for his exhibition fight against YouTuber-turned-boxer, Logan Paul.

Speaking to his 25.3m Instagram followers, Mayweather who bowed out of pro-boxing undefeated (50-0, 27 KOs) said that the fight with Paul will hold on June 6 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

He wrote: “Logan Paul and I are going to fight at Hard Rock Stadium. Mayweather Promotions, Fanmio and Showtime will team up to give you an epic event,” Mayweather wrote on Instagram.

However, Paul, 26, has a lot to prove in the fight against Mayweather following his debut fight which he lost by split-decision to fellow YouTuber KSI in November 2019.

Meanwhile, Mayweather came out of retirement to defeat fought since beating mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor by technical knockout in Las Vegas in 2017.

The 44-year-old also recorded a first-round knockout against Japanese kickboxer and mixed martial artist Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition match in December 2018.
