Man cries out after Glo billed him N1500 for three seconds call [Photo]
A Nigerian man was left puzzled on Wednesday morning after a debit alert popped up on the screen of his phone notifying him that he has been billed N1500 for his three seconds call from his Glo line.
The visibly worried Glo subscriber who said he made the call from his roaming destination in United Kingdom, took to Twitter to call out the telecom provider via its verified handle @GloWorld, asking for an explanation over the indiscriminate call charge.
The man had placed the call to Nigeria from United Kingdom.
He shared screenshot of the notification on Twitter and wrote:
“Dear
@GloWorld! Please can you explain why I’m charged N1,500 for just 3 seconds call bearing in mind roaming charges from UK to Nigeria shows N150 per minute on your website. Your response is appreciated.”
