Man arrested for killing “Sugar Mummy” over N100,000 in Delta
Delta State police have apprehended a man identified as Akpoveta School for allegedly murdering his ‘sugar mummy’, Gloria Akpaku, over her failure to give him N100,000.
According to Delta Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, who made the disclosure via his official handle, Akpoveta confessed to the crime, revealing that the deceased had promised to give him money upon her return from the market.
However, when he threatened to expose their secret relationship to her child, Gloria decided not to fulfill her promise.
Angered by her refusal, Akpoveta admitted to stabbing Gloria three times in the back, neck, and stomach.
Edafe emphasized the importance of learning from such incidents, stating, “I share stories like this so we can learn from the mistakes of others. So this suspect Akpoveta School allegedly murdered his sugar mummy Glory Akpaku over her failure to give him back the money she was helping him save. ‘When asked why he did he said ‘NA DEVIL WORK’ pls watch and share.’”
