WuzupNaija recalls that Kenny and his friend Dayo D1 Adeneye are among those that reshaped the Nigerian music industry after they returned to Nigeria in the early 90s from studying abroad.
The duo became popular among Nigerian music lovers when they co-presented the famous music programme AIT Jamz that was aired on Africa Independent Television in the late 90s.
They later moved on to start PrimeTime Jamz on NTA and then floated a music label, Kennis Music, that shaped the career of 2face Idibia, Eedris Abdulkareem, Tony Tetuila, Sound Sultan among others.
Prior to his latest achievement, Ogungbe was the managing director of Raypower FM while his friend Dayo Adeneye is now the Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Ogun State.
We wish Kenny Ogungbe the best of luck in his new endeavour!
