Katsina lawmaker, Abdulrazak Tsiga, is dead
A member of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Honorable Abdurrazaq Tsiga, is dead.
Tsiga, who represents Bakori constituency, died on Sunday morning at the General Hospital, Malumfashi after battling a protracted illness since June 2019.
Until his death, the lawmaker was the House Deputy Leader and Chairman, House Committee on Business, Ethics and Privileges.
Tsiga was a retired director of education in the Local Government Service in the state before venturing to politics.
However, the late lawmaker has been buried on Monday morning, according to the spokesman of the assembly, Nasiru Zanngo.
He added that the Speaker of the Assembly, Tasiu Zanngo led other members of the assembly to the burial of the lawmaker on Monday in Tsiga town.
