Kanye West demands apology from J Cole, Drake, says he’s a rebel leader
US rapper, Kanye West has demanded an apology from J Cole and Drake while declaring himself to be a rebel leader.
The rapper made this known in a series of tweets in which he also aired his displeasure at not being able to release enough music in recent times.
Giving reasons, Kanye West said that he’s waiting for his contract with Universal and Sony to be over.
“I need to see everybody’s contracts at Universal and Sony, I’m not gonna watch my people be enslaved. I’m putting my life on the line for my people. The music industry and the NBA are modern-day slave ships. I’m the new Moses,” he wrote.
He then went on to declare himself as Nat Turner, a black man in the 1830s who was a slave rebel leader.
“I need a public apology from J Cole and Drake to start with immediately, I’m Nat Turner, I’m fighting for us,” he said.
He also declared himself to be the second richest black man in Africa.
