Makinde wins Oyo PDP gov ticket
Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday won the governorship primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party for Oyo State.
The PDP governorship primary election for the state was held at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, the state capital.
Makinde floored his opponent, Mr Hazeem Gbolarunmi, with a maximum of 1,040 delegates votes, as the latter secured only two votes.
Of the total 1,048 votes, reports revealed that six votes returned void.
