Jigawa extends Eid-al-Maulud holiday till Thursday
The government of Jigawa State has announced that Thursday, September 28, 2023, will be a work-free day in honor of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
This decision was communicated in a statement signed by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, and made available by the Public Relations Officer of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service, Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse.
Workers in the state have been encouraged to use this opportunity to offer prayers for Allah’s protection and guidance for their leaders, as well as to pray for peace and progress in the state and the entire nation.
