Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has opened up about her deliberate decision to remain silent in the face of repeated verbal attacks, curses, and death wishes directed at her family and grandson by fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin.

Anjorin has in recent times consistently targeted Iyabo Ojo and her family online, including her grandson, Rakeem Mkambala, with harsh words and allegations.

However, in a post shared via Instagram on Sunday, Ojo revealed that her silence has been intentional and guided by her faith in God.

“I’ve seen all your messages, DMs, voice notes, and questions about my silent approach to the defamatory statements, insults, death wishes, and curses Liz Anjorin has been directing at my family, especially those targeting my grandson. Honestly, most of the time, I struggle to hold my peace… but I have to ignore the distractions. Who God has blessed, no one can curse,” she wrote.

The actress disclosed that her legal representatives are actively monitoring the situation and preparing her for what lies ahead. She explained that her primary focus at the moment is providing support to her daughter, Priscillia, and being present for her during her journey into motherhood.

Iyabo added that while the current distraction is difficult to ignore, it will be addressed once she returns to Lagos.

“For clarity, I want to assure you all that my legal team isn’t sleeping. They’re taking notes of everything. A wise one must always listen to the counsel of the learned team. Everything has its timing,” she stated.
