Nigerian musician, Jocey Joseph Ekwuazi, known professionally as Willie XO, has threatened to do a face transplant if fans keep comparing him to embattled American ‘Pied Piper’ of RnB, R Kelly.

Willie XO, who shares a striking resemblance with the American, has over the years been touted as Nigeria’s R. Kelly.

However, with R. Kelly facing series of sexual abuse allegations from several women, the comparison is no longer funny and the singer, while reacting to a fan’s comment on his picture on Instagram, described it as a ‘diss’.

He said:

“That’s a diss fam. I’m no R Kelly! It’s no a longer a compliment saying someone looks like R Kelly, besides there’s zero resemblance. Y’all kill that joke or I’m getting a face transplant!! ?”

WuzupNigeria reports that R. Kelly, known for hit tracks like ‘Step in the name of love’,  ‘Happy People, ‘The World Greatest, among others, is being held in a federal facility in New York.

In the New York case, the singer stands accused of recruiting underage girls and women to have sex with him. He was said to have isolated them, controlled what they ate and when they went to the bathroom.

The trial has been fixed for May 2020.

The singer will face a second trial in Chicago in April 2020 for similar offences.
