#Inauguration2019: Sanwo-Olu appoints Ayinde as Chief of Staff

The incoming Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has made his first appointment as he is being sworn-in this morning.
He has appointed a security expert, Tayo Ayinde, as his Chief of Staff.
Ayinde was the Director General of Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Group (BOSCO) in 2019 general elections.
The new CoS was the chief security detail during the tenure of former governor Bola Tinubu.
Ayinde, a native of Ikorodu area of Lagos, was born on August 24, 1964.
He holds an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in banking and finance and Higher National Diploma (HND) in accountancy from Federal Polytechnic, Anambra State.
The new CoS worked briefly with TELL Magazine as an Accounting Officer in 1993, before joining the State Security Service (SSS) that same year and retired in 2009.
He also holds a master’s degree in financial management from Lagos State University.
Ayinde also read strategic thinking approach at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
He read business model innovation at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
He also studied strategic financial analysis for business evaluation at Harvard Business School, Boston, US.
