Iconic Nigerian artist Yusuf Grillo dies at 87

Veteran artist, Yusuf Grillo, has passed away in the early hours of Monday August 23 at the age of 87.

Born in in 1934, Grillo’s death was confrimed by on of his children, Mrs Adeyemi, according to Vanguard.

“Yes, my father is dead. He died this morning.

“As we speak, we are preparing to take his remains for burial,” she said.
