Ibadan poly halts public activities for examination
Registrar of The Polytechnic Ibadan, Mrs Modupe Fawale, on Sunday announced the indefinite suspension of public activities on the campus until further notice.
According to a statement released on behalf of the management, Fawale noted that the ongoing second-semester examinations will continue despite the announcement.
The PUNCH reports that that the academic activities, including conferences, seminars and workshops in the institution had, tentatively, been suspended.
“The authorities of The Polytechnic, Ibadan have suspended all public activities, including conferences, seminars and workshops in the institution and its environment until further notice apart from the ongoing second semester examinations.
“By this, all deans of faculties, directors, heads of departments, religious bodies, students’ union, students’ representative council, all staff and members of the public are to kindly abide by this directive which takes effect from Sunday, 27th of June,” the statement read.
