HE TORE HER TROUSERS! 28-year-old man invites lady to his residence, attempts to rape her
A 28-year-old man risks going to jail after he allegedly tore the trousers of a lady he invited to his house.
According to reports, Sodiq Bello had invited the lady to his residence at Adexson area in Igando, Lagos.
While entertaining her, however, Bello made moves to engage in a sex romp with her. He was said to have fondled her breasts, but the lady rebuffed his moves.
Angered by the apparent non-interest, Bello attempted to forcefully have sexual intercourse with her. He engaged her in a fight, tore her trousers and left her unclad.

She was left with only her pant on until she got help from women around who gave her clothes to cover up.
The assault was reported to the police at Igando Division and Sodiq was arrested and detained at the police station for the alleged assault.
Sodiq told the police that the lady angered him after he had positioned his mind for the romp and she turned round to refuse his advances.
The police found him culpable and charged him before the Ejigbo Magistrates court for attempted rape by tearing the victim’s trouser.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, asked the court to use its discretion on the issue of bail.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrates, Mr. T.O. Shomade, granted Sodiq bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till 21st November 2018.
