The Police in Bauchi State have arrested a man who allegedly broke into a man’s house to rape him.

The incident, according to reports, happened at Rariya Quarters, Bauchi, around 1 a.m on Friday.

The suspect, 35-year-old Ismail Yusuf, was said to have sneaked into the house on the 13th of August, 2018, with the intent to rape one Haruna Banki.

The police were, however, alerted and the suspect was arrested.

Upon interrogation, he voluntarily confessed to the crime and that he has been in the act for a very long time.

He was paraded, yesterday, alongside another suspect arrested for being in possession of stolen properties.
