Gunmen kidnap Benue commissioner’s wife
Unknown armed men have kidnapped the wife of Benue Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Ann Unenge, in Makurdi the state capital.
Unenge was taken captive around 6 pm on Thursday, The Nation reports.
She had only returned from Daudu town where she went to visit her parents before she was waylaid.
Her vehicle, a Toyota Highlander, was reportedly taken away by the gunmen.
The gunmen reportedly shot indiscriminately into the air to scare away passersby before driving the victim away.
