British-Nigerian actor and producer, David Oyetokunbo Oyelowo, was spotted in African print at the red carpet premiers of “Gringo.”

Oyelowo was accompanied by his father, Stephen, and wife, Jessica, and they looked distinct in their beautiful Ankara outfits.

The movie which stars Oyelowo as the lead actor was premiered at the Regal LA Live Stadium 14, on Wednesday Los Angeles, California.

Oyelowo stars alongside Charlize Theron and was hailed a “really talented actor” by Director Nash Edgerton, the independent reports.

“I think he’s a really talented actor. I had dinner with him, we got on really well and he totally got the tone of what I was trying to do,” he said.

“And I just knew halfway through dinner he was the guy I wanted to cast in this movie.”

The movie is about Oyelowo’s character’s run-in with the Mexican cartel as he tries to manufacture a legal cannabis pill.
