GOOD NEWS: Senate stops NCC’s plan to increase data price
Plans by the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) to increase the price of data may have been stopped by the Nigerian Senate, WuzupNaija has gathered.
MTN subscribers had been issued series of warning text messages, informing them that starting from Thursday, December 1, there would be an increase in the rate of date purchase, a development which has irked many Nigerians from all walks of life.
During their plenary session today, the Senate said it was totally against the plans by the commission to increase the prices of data.
